![]() This video of the moon was filmed in Reading, UK on 9th April 2011 using a Konus Digimax-90 telescope with a USB camera eye-piece attachment. The telescope is stationary with the movement being the passage of the moon across the moon in realtime. A few nice Tasco telescope images I found: Moon crater map I’ve taken the shot using my homemade digicam eyepiece converter, Olympus Camedia C500, and Tasco Starguide 60 mm refractor telescope (afocal method). Half Moon I’ve taken the shot using my homemade digicam eyepiece converter, Olympus Camedia C500, and Tasco Starguide 60 mm refractor telescope (afocal method). Check out these Celestron telescope images: Waxing gibbous Moon This is un-cropped, full-frame using an 8″ Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope at prime focus. It’s almost as if this telescope was designed with this shot in mind (and maybe it was). I set up in just 5 minutes on a Vixen alt-az mount. In principle, I should be getting even better resolution than the previous shots taken with the 4″ refractor, but tonight it was a little hazy, and this telescope is probably out of adjustment, so detail isn’t in the same league. Still, I’m blown away by how easy this is to do. Addendum: When I took out the trash at 11:30 PM, the sky was crystal-clear and the moon was even closer to the zenith–perfect shooting conditions. Laziness won out this time, but I’ll be back! An ancient celestron imaging telescope that took a beautiful photo of andromeda while at gssp Saturno (desenfocado)
Very first tests of the NexImage camera in telescope Celestron Astromaster 76.
