- Easy to use beginner to intermediate telescope.
- 114mm Newtonian reflector optical design.
- Included motor drive for improved star tracking.
- ET7 German Equitorial mount designed for astronomical viewing.
- An excellent starter telescope or addition to an existing telescope collection.
the Eclipse reflector telescope offers enough power and an ease of use that is perfect for the beginning astronomer but yet advanced enough for more technically adept stargazers. This is a great beginning telescope with enough power for deeper exploration. With its equatorial mount, tripod, clock drive and a good price, you will need reasons not to try it. Don’t forget about the wonderful 25 Year warranty from the folks at Zhumell either.

Question by krash3x: I want to buy a telescope. Its up to 2 models zhumell and meade both are dobsoian. Which is a better brand.?
I’m looking at a zhumell 12 in dobsonian and a meade Light bridge. I would appreciate if anyone has any comments on the quality of build and eye pieces of each of these please. Thankyou all in advance.
I’m looking for a 10 or 12. Probably 12. I know that with cheap telescopes meade makes better eyepieces. I bought a bushnell its crap. I just want a good quality telescope clearest and best color. I have a 3 inch “toy” telesocpe and want a pretty good one. Thankyou for all your answers so far they are helping me alot but I need to be sure if I’m going to invest this much money in a telescope. I like the light bridge because you can move it eaiser but if I take it to a field I dont want things fall in the Ribs and getting on the mirror. I want the zhumell for the price but I really havent heard them much. Due to the lack of experience but it has alot of features. I just dont want to have a bad telecope.

I can only comment on the eyepieces and tell you that virtually all telescopes come equipped with mediocre eyepieces. You’re likely to get just one if any at all. You will end up buying more in different sizes and of better quality. Happy stargazing!
