bushnell telescope?

Question by No Name: bushnell telescope?
I have a Bushnell Model # 78-158 telescope. I took it out last night when the sky was clear and I could see stars. I looked through all the lenses with the caps off obviously and couldn’t see a damn thing. What’s wrong with the telescope? Also, can I see space during the day through it?

Back in the 60’s and 70’s Bushnell made a very fine product. That can’t be said today. Most are now considered the toy or junk scopes. I assume that you did have an eyepiece and the diagonal in the scope. Try to focus on something durring the daytime first.

Seek out a local astronomy club or Astronomical Society. They should have a member there who can help you one on one.
